What a great read for any couple! It takes to you how both people have an immediate attraction to one another! Yet as life goes on in any relationship, it shows how you have to take a few steps back to re-discover what love is and should be with one another. It was also taking place in the town I for the most part grew up on LI, Garden City! Many thanks to Diane Fitzgerald for sending this book to us! Additionally, we were so touched we ordered 4 copies to send onto other friends!
Tom has written a beautiful story in The Anniversary Box. His writing flows so smoothy that I couldn’t believe that I read the whole story in one sitting. What a treat!
Very interesting Was recommended by a friend and it is worth the read
1-21-22 From my mother, Dot Fitzgerald: I’m 90 years old and married for nearly 70 years to the same gentleman. I thoroughly enjoyed reading “The Anniversary Box” which takes place in many familiar, enjoyable places where we’ve been. The book is full of wisdom for long or short relationships and is a perfect gift for every loving couple. (Note: Dot & Jim are dear friends with Tom’s parents, Missy & Tom Murphy. Dot cherished every word of this book.) 9-27-21 From Diane Fitzgerald: Tom Murphy has written a lovely, heartwarming story that any one of us could be the lead characters in. And it turns out, he offers easy steps to keeping love alive plus gives a fantastic list to follow as “next steps” at the close of the book. The message of The Anniversary Box could have gotten preachy. But Tom avoids that with a great storyline of discovery and realization. He packs alot into 180 pages. Well done!
Wonderful story. Raises love above the human condition. #26 The family that prays together, stays together Kathy and Dick Williams
This is a great love story. I’ve given it to my wife to read then my engaged daughter. It has something for everyone.
Just finished the book. Tips #7 and #7 are especially meaningful to us. Hall mark here we come!
The Anniversary Box is a love story wrapped around a mystery. I can see this novel as a captivating movie! Murphy sends the reader on a search for enduring love- the finale reveals a powerful message that will enhance our love relationships. I waited anxiously for Peggy to find the “Anniversary Box” or will she?
Cool story! This book touched the beauty of my own heart to know the difference between love and ego needs in a most entertaining way. This could be a beautiful tool for marriage counselors to guide individuals to navigate their relationships with their hearts. I bet there’d be fewer divorces and happier marriages when they let adversity be their worthy teacher – Message #14. My fav:)
The Anniversary Box is a beautiful quick read on how to have a long lasting, loving relationship. It’s a great book for everyone because we all have times when a little helpful advice can help us weather the highs and lows of any relationship; friend, spouse, partner, child, co-worker, etc. Enjoy!
