- Throughout the workshop, Cynthia will share many handouts and resources.
- Participation limited to fifteen, first come-first serve.
- If you sign up but then decide not to attend and request a refund, you must let Cynthia know by April 9, 2021. No refunds after workshop has begun.
- Cynthia will send the recurring Zoom link to participants one week before start of workshop.
Cynthia Brackett-Vincent holds a BFA in creative writing from the University of Maine at Farmington. She is the recipient of a Norton Island residency in poetry, and has completed graduate work in English/poetry writing. Cynthia published/edited the Aurorean poetry journal from 1995–2020. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize in poetry. Her co-edited anthology, Women on Poetry: Writing, Revising, Publishing and Teaching (McFarland) was named “One of 100 Best Books for Writers” by Poets & Writers. Her published works also include educational articles for writers, and memoir. She resides in rural Maine where she and her husband own Encircle Publications, which publishes full-length fiction and poetry books. She has taught poetry in the Maine Adult Education system, the Maine Senior College system, in weekend retreats at Pyramid Life Center in the Adirondacks, online, in private workshops, and in classes ranging from elementary school to college.
